Facebook this week announced the arrival of Vudu from Fandango on the Oculus Quest headset, so you can enjoy over 200,000 movies and TV shows from the comfort of your own VR screening room.On-demand video store and streaming service has a wide range of content that is available 100% free, as well as paid premium content that is available in amazing 4K UHD.
In addition to buying content, you can also rent. This includes first-time theater releases such as Free guy, the latest action-adventure movie from internet darling Ryan Reynolds as well as Disney’s Jungle Cruise,Marvel Studios’ Black widow,F9: The Fast Saga, and Addams Family 2 just to name a few. The app even has support for over 100 3D movies; perfect for VR.
Such titles include Ready Player One, Mad Max: Fury Road, Venom, Jurassic World, The Boss Baby: Family Business, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Every purchase or rental you make on mobile, desktop or smart TV apps is instantly displayed in your headset and promises a hassle-free video streaming experience.
The Vudu app joins a variety of video streaming apps already available on the Oculus Quest platform, including – but not limited to – Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. That said, Fandango sets its platform apart from the package with its wide range of first-time theater releases.
