The list also included Ronald Araujo, the Barcelona player, and Valverde, the Real Madrid midfielder, in addition to Darwin Nunez, the Liverpool striker, and Manuel Ugarte, the Paris Saint-Germain player.
The Celeste team is in second place in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, with 7 points, 5 points behind leaders Argentina.
