There is nothing like watch your favorite movies in a dark room on a massive screen. For the authentic cinema experience at home, you need a projector (and a popcorn maker).

You used to have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to get an excellent expected experience, but you can now get a massive, beautiful picture for less than the price of a flagship TV. Projectors are also much more portable and easier to configure than they were before. And if you have the space, there are excellent pocket-sized models and short throws that make movie nights on the lawn as easy as finding an extension cord and a high chair to put them on.
