According to the Federal Minister of Economics, there is something for the ailing energy technology group Siemens Energy Robert Habeck a solution. “We, I would say, have found a solution and will make it public soon,” said the Green politician on Tuesday in Berlin. At the moment “nothing can be confirmed”, but this should happen “when the agreements can finally be published”. Habeck did not comment on details.
The day before, the “Handelsblatt” reported that the crucial details in the struggle for state aid had been clarified. Accordingly, Siemens Energy should receive guarantees for major projects worth 15 billion euros. There is also a solution for the participation of the major 25 percent shareholder Siemens, which the federal government had insisted on. The agreement should be announced on Wednesday when the Dax-listed energy technology group presents its balance sheet. The companies initially did not want to comment on the information.
