Riot Games and Secret Cinema launch Arcane as a narrative experience in real life in Los Angeles.

Arcane is a new animated television series that debuts on November 6 on Netflix, following the world championships in the League of Legends. And on November 21, Secret Cinema opens its true story experience, with actors mingling with an audience and telling a story.

Pre-sale for the experience opens on October 13 at 12.00 Pacific time, and regular admission tickets will be sold on October 14 at. 12.00 Pacific. The idea of the partnership between Riot and Secret Cinema is to help bring Riot’s video game experience to life. Tickets start at $ 70, without counting booking fees.

Based on the world behind the League of Legends, Arcane dives into the delicate balance between the rich city of Piltover and the dingy abdomen of Zaun. Known throughout Runeterra as the “city of progress”, many of the most ingenious minds call these cities home. But the creation of hexetech, a way for any person to control magical energy, threatens this balance. While Arcane has backstories of League of Legends champions, the series is designed to stand alone as a complex world.

Riot Games and Secret Cinema will immerse players directly in the Arcane world. Equipped with tailor-made backstories and missions, the boundary between actors and audiences will be blurred as players explore the dark and dangerous underworld and meet its inhabitants – the strange, the scary and sometimes even the friendly. Players will undertake dangerous missions, evade Piltover Enforcers, survive and thrive, each choice affecting how the story ends.
