My ticket company has launched tickets for the Egypt and Djibouti national team match scheduled for 6 pm on Thursday evening at Cairo Stadium in the first round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Mohamed Gharaba, Egypt national team manager, revealed that all players hope to reach the World Cup, pointing out that Rui Vitoria, the coach, stressed the need to start the World Cup qualifiers well.
Gharaba added, in statements to the “Thala’s Audience” program with journalist Ibrahim Fayek on the “On Time Sports 2” channel: Vitoria stressed the necessity of not underestimating the opponent, whether it is Djibouti or Sierra Leone, and that there should be a good start in order to facilitate the task of reaching the World Cup.
He continued: “We are looking forward to providing a positive result in the first two matches, which will be a good boost for us.”
Mohamed Gharaba concluded his statements by saying: “There are 22 players who arrived at the camp, and today Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, and Mustafa Mohamed will join the team because they were participating in yesterday’s matches.”
