The provincial representative of Santa Fe, Amalia Granata, this Wednesday, distanced herself from her former ally Javier Milei by ensuring that the presidential candidate of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) “lied” and that “there are many libertarians outraged by what he is doing.”
Granata, who was re-elected for a new term by the Unite for Freedom and Dignity list, anticipated that she will vote blank in the November 19 runoff and accused Milei of saying “any outrageous thing just for a few votes to win, that is be chaste.”
In statements to Radio Gol, from Santa Fe, the legislator criticized Milei’s proposal to add Patricia Bullrich to a possible cabinet to obtain its support.
Please stop making an excuse for the poor Republic!!! You want to save yourself! They are settling the charges and they tell you that it is because of the people!
Don’t take us for fools anymore!— Amalia Granata 💙💙 (@AmelieGranata) October 25, 2023
“The truth is, I don’t like seeing what Milei wants to do. Join at any price those you criticized so much and you said any outrageous thing just for a few votes to win, that is being chaste.”
And he added: “I am very sad because I realize that Milei lied to us, and that he is capable of joining any political force just to win. There are many libertarians outraged by what Milei is doing.”
The former model said that “Libertarians get violent because from our political space we do not lower the line of who to vote for”.
“I am anti-Kirchnerist, my vote is going to be white. (Sergio) Massa is criticized for his anti-Kirchnerist past and now they are allies, but Milei is doing the same,” he assessed.
Then he referred to Milei’s approach to Bullrich, with the intermediation of Mauricio Macri, and recalled that the LLA applicant land called the former JxC candidate “child killer” and “montonera”, and “later hugged.”
And he warned: “Make it clear that the runoff candidates are the same.”
“I am disappointed in Milei’s attitude, became part of the caste“added Granata, who despite not having sealed a formal agreement in the provincial elections praised the libertarian candidate on numerous occasions and publicly celebrated his victory in the PASO.
