Tom Holland reveals it if he were to repeat his role as Spider-Man for a fourth film after No way home, it should be very different than Homecoming trilogy. No way home is set to exit Holland Spider Man trilogy when it comes out later in the year. The film, which is one of MCU’s most anticipated upcoming releases, examines the aftermath of Far from home and the consequences of Peter Parker’s newfound fame now that his identity as Spider-Man has been shared with the world.
The trailer for No way home, which surpassed Avengers: Endgame‘s previous record for most screenings within a 24-hour period, shows that the conclusion of the trilogy draws no blow. After Doctor Strange conjures magic to help Peter regain his anonymity and bring a sense of normalcy back into his life, a number of threats emerge that threaten security around the world, including villains from the past Spider Man films including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Electro. For several months, there have also been rumors that former Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also appear in the film in a certain capacity.
Although it seems to No way home will serve as a conclusion for Tom Holland’s self-employed Spider Man film, the actor has not completely ruled out appearing in a fourth installment. In a new interview with EW, Holland explains that if a fourth film were ever to progress, it would have to be markedly different from what they have done with Homecoming trilogy. The film was to explore new territory and be tonally different from the films they have made before, says Holland. Read Holland’s full comment below:
“I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you would see a completely different version. It would no longer be Homecoming trilogy. We would give it some time and try to build something different and tonally change the movies. Whether it happens or not, I do not know. But we certainly dealt [No Way Home] as if it was about to end and it felt like it. “
It seems like No way home will finally act as a final installment to Homecoming madness of Spider Man, but the prospect of a fourth film is not out of the question. Although many standalone MCU movies stop at or before the third installment, there are occasional exceptions. Thor: Love and thunderfor example, the fourth installment in standalone Thor movies, coming out next year. Even Sam Raimis Spider Man the trilogy had a planned fourth installment at one point.
If Holland really ever returns for a fourth Spider-Man movie, it would be interesting to see a new angle. The Netherlands noted that they would “give it some time“suggests that not only would it take some time to put together a fourth film in the real world, but it could focus on a more adult version of Peter Parker. photographer Mens Homecoming movies have been very light and comical in tone, it would be interesting to see a more mature or maybe even a little darker look Spider Man. For now, though, it seems to be No way home is the last we’ll see of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man for a while. Spider-Man: No way home is scheduled to release later this year on December 17th.
