The Apple Watch Ultra comes with a built-in night mode that puts a red filter on the screen. Keep reading to learn how to use it.
To optimize for evening conditions, Apple Watch Ultra has a Night Mode that turns the interface red and removes retina-altering blue light from the screen to ease the strain on your eyes in the dark.
On other Apple Watch models, looking at your watch or accidentally flicking your wrist in the dark can affect your night vision. Night Mode on Apple Watch Ultra protects night vision, which can be critical for explorers and astronomers.
It also just looks cool in the dark. How to turn it on.
- If it’s not already active, swipe to the new one Wayfinder watch face, which is specially made for Apple Watch Ultra.
- Turn on Digital crown to enable Night Mode.
- Turn on to turn it off Digital crown in the opposite direction.
Note that Night Mode only works when the Wayfinder watch face is used – it is an exclusive feature for Wayfinder and cannot be activated when another watch face is displayed.
