If you’re working on a new site, service, or app, consider getting your marketing campaigns off the ground by having an online presence that you can show to potential users or buyers so that when you start, can hit the ground running.
Coming soon pages are the first step in that process. You certainly do not show the finished product – but it is enough to start building a social media, measure product interest or even get users to sign up for beta tests when they are ready.
But just because it’s just a temporary landing page, does not mean it should not be well thought out design. The quality of the upcoming page you create can greatly affect the success of your product.
Since it’s so important to have a well thought out designed page coming soon, we have a collection of some of our favorites. The following pages are all fairly recent examples of pages that we think are a good job of explaining the product and building hype and excitement for the people who would be the target audience of the service.
If you are working on a startup or want to create your own landing page before launch, we hope this collection gives you lots of inspiration and ideas.
More inspiration for web design
In general, the best pre-launches or upcoming pages do all three things well:
- They build excitement by providing a quick, brief insight into what the product will do and what issues it solves.
- They provide some finer details about the features and benefits it will have.
- And finally, and perhaps most importantly, allows visitors to sign up and register interest.
The last step is fundamentally crucial, as it means that – at the time of launch – you have a (hopefully large) list of potential users or buyers that you can contact to tell them that your new product has launched. Good luck!
